The academic staff union of universities (ASUU) has moved against some federal universities which decided to pull out from their strike, treating to sanction them. 
A report was also released, saying that few members of the lecturer's union have withdrawn from their ongoing industrial action to resume academic activities.
Professor Victor Emmanuel Osodeke stated that the academic staff union of universities (ASUU) will punish those who have pulled out from the ongoing strike the appropriate way. 
His words were _"we will ensure to query them and will follow I up the appropriate way. We have even queried some of the I'm accrodance with the union."_
